Intellectual Property Rights

The photographs, descriptions and page designs on this site belong to us or are used with permission.

What we own

Photography, product copy, page layout and the visual design of this site belong to us. Sharing a link is always fine; republishing a listing or reusing our images in a shop is not.

Permitted use

Personal use is unrestricted: browse, save, print. Reviews and editorial coverage may use one image per item with a credit and a link back to this site.

Trademarks of others

Where a third-party brand is mentioned it is because it is accurate to do so — a payment provider, or a compatibility note — and not because of any affiliation. All such marks remain the property of their owners.

Reporting infringement

If you believe material on this site infringes a right you hold, write to our contact address with the page or image, the right you claim and evidence of ownership. We act on well-founded notices quickly, which in practice means removing or replacing the item while the claim is examined.

Material you send us

Reviews and comments

Reviews you write remain yours; by sending one you allow us to show it on the site and in our own promotion. We may shorten it for length or remove anything unlawful, but we will not change what you meant.

Photographs you send

Images you send us in support of a return or a sizing question stay in that conversation. We will ask separately, and in writing, before using any customer photograph on the site or on social media.

How we handle a complaint

What to include

A useful notice names the page or image, describes the material, explains the right you believe is infringed and shows that you hold it. Evidence of ownership — a registration, an original file with its metadata, a licence — lets us act immediately instead of writing back to ask.

What happens next

We acknowledge the notice, take the material down or replace it while we look into the claim, and tell you the outcome with reasons. Where the claim holds, the item is removed or swapped out straight away; where it does not, we put it back and set out our reasoning so the position is clear to both sides.

Using our pages

Printing and saving

Saving or printing a page for yourself is fine. Machine-copying a set of listings, or feeding our descriptions into another shop's catalogue, is outside what we permit and is something we check for.

Press and editorial use

Editorial coverage is welcome: one image per item, a credit, and a link. Anything beyond that — a gallery, a sponsored feature, a print run — needs permission first, and requests are normally answered within a day.

Where our material comes from

Photography

Product photographs are taken in our own space, of the stock we hold, and edited only for exposure and crop. We do not licence catalogue images, and we do not use a manufacturer's shot as though it showed our own stock.

Written descriptions

Descriptions are written from the item rather than adapted from a supplier's sheet, so the same paragraph does not appear on ten other shops. A passage that clearly matches ours elsewhere is worth reporting to our contact address.
