Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information we hold when you shop with us, why we hold it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Information we collect

When you place an order we collect the details needed to fulfil it: your name, delivery address, email address and, where the courier requires it, a telephone number. If you create an account or join the newsletter we also hold the email address you gave us.

How we use it

We use your information to complete the order you placed, to answer messages you send us, and to keep records we are required to keep. Email addresses are used for order updates and, only if you opted in, occasional newsletters. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not pass it to advertisers.

Cookies and measurement

The site sets a small number of cookies: one to remember your cart, one to remember whether you have already answered the cookie banner, and basic analytics to count visits. None of them build an advertising profile, and blocking them in your browser will not prevent checkout from working.

Sharing, and who processes data for us

A small number of service providers handle data on our behalf: the payment provider that processes card transactions, the courier that delivers your parcel, and the email service that sends order confirmations. Card numbers are entered on the payment provider's own interface and never reach our servers, so we could not store them if we wanted to.

Retention and your choices

Order records are kept for as long as accounting rules require, then deleted. You can ask us to send you a copy of what we hold, to correct it, or to delete anything that is not part of a required record. Requests sent to our contact address are handled within one business week.

Your rights over your information

Access and correction

You can ask for a copy of your personal data at any time and we will provide it in a readable form. If something is wrong — a misspelled street, an address you have moved from — tell us and we will correct it. There is no charge for a first request, and you do not need an account to make one — the order number from a confirmation email is enough for us to find you.

Deletion and objection

You can ask us to delete your details, and we will do so except for the order records we are obliged to keep for tax purposes. Where an accounting rule applies, we explain which part must stay and for how long, then remove everything else. Unsubscribing from the newsletter never affects an order already placed.

Automated decisions

We do not make automated decisions that affect your order. Fraud screening may pause a payment for review, but a person looks at it before an order is cancelled, and you can always ask us why a decision was made.

How we keep it safe

Security in practice

International transfers

Orders are shipped worldwide, so a delivery address may be shared with a courier in another country. That transfer is limited to the address and contact details the carrier needs to complete the delivery, and nothing else travels with it.

Children

This shop is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and if you believe a child has placed an order or sent us details, contact us and we will remove the record.

Other things worth knowing

Changes to this policy

This page is the current statement of what we do. If it is revised, the revision appears here rather than in a separate notice, and orders already placed continue to be handled under the policy that applied when they were made.

How to reach us

Use the contact address printed in the footer for anything to do with your data. If you are not satisfied with our answer, say so in the same thread and it will be looked at again.
